Polymer Clay Earring Care

As a general rule, your earrings should be the last thing you put on, and the first thing you take off. Please avoid excessive exposure to water while wearing and storing your earrings, and keep them away from perfumes, lotions, and oils. If you do get some lotion or makeup on your earrings, use some rubbing alcohol and a soft cloth/cotton swab to remove it. For harder to remove makeup stains, 100% acetone can be used on a cotton swab for easy removal. Acetone should not be used on pieces that contain resin. I recommend storing your earrings in a cool, dry place and away from things that could cause scratches or abrasions. Polymer clay is durable, but not indestructible. Please treat your earrings with care.

As for the hardware used to make your earrings, anything with a "stud" backing  (all of my dangles and studs) have titanium posts. Titanium is one of the most hypoallergenic metals. The hoop, and kidney hook earrings are nickel free and stainless steel. This will always be clearly specified in the listing. Your earrings are made out of polymer clay, which is conditioned and baked in a way to make it durable.  Material information for each individual set of earrings will be listed in the product listings description. Please make sure to read these details in order to ensure that you get the earrings that are right for you.
